Dear Community Friends,

In 2005, I founded the Walter Jones Foundation, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization, as a way to give back to the community and to showcase the positive lifestyles and contributions of professional athletes. I am determined to continue to excel on the football field and in the community through my outreach initiatives to families and schools. Because I understand the struggles of our inner city youth, I am committed to empowering and developing activities for youth from underserved communities.

I want to convey to all youth that no matter what your circumstances are, if you work hard, you can achieve your goals and succeed. I seek to encourage today's youth to reach their full potential in both athletic and academic pursuits.

It is with great pleasure that I am writing to you on behalf of the upcoming events. The Walter Jones Foundation is gearing up for its Annual Community Day and Youth Football Camps to promote its primary cause, "Enhancing the Lives and Communities of all Children."

The Walter Jones Foundation will continue its tradition of hosting community days of fun and football camps for youth ages 8-18 each summer.
